Bob Caddick is an award winning photographer, who fell in love with making memorable images when his parents gave him a Brownie 127 camera as a child. A school trip to Spain in the early 1960s allowed him to try colour negative film -even though his local chemist told him that the camera "wasn't good enough". The challenge was made, and Bob came back with colourful pictures of The Pyrenees and a bullfight in Barcelona - sadly these historic images are lost forever!

A career in journalism and later in marketing communications for a major international group, has allowed Bob Caddick to travel extensively in Europe, the USA and Middle East. Many images from this time exist as 35mm negatives and will be added to the website as time allows.

A diagnosis of cancer in 1998 has meant that Bob now concentrates on destinations closer to home in the UK and France. The illness has allowed Bob to spend more time with his camera enjoying the peace and tranquillity of natural landscapes and sea vistas.Happily now the illness is under control more ambitious projects can be completed.

Based in Northamptonshire, Bob Caddick is centrally located and his images reflect the varied scenery and activities around him.
